Symbol of Submission

Some submissive persons and slaves wear items as physical symbols of the power exchange. Particularly when they are apart from their dominant partner, say, at work.

For submissive guys the most common choice - with sad narrowness of vision - is an article of feminine attire: panties.

Do you wear - or would you like to wear - something, visible or hidden - as a emblem of your place in your D/s relationship?

I have a small symbol that is ironed on all of my undershirts that is the Female Symbol and in the interior our initials nuzzled together but Hers placed on top. It can be seen underneath a white shirt, but it is subtle. I wear an undershirt most everyday, so I’m usually wearing the symbol everyday. She is planning to get a signet ring that has our initial design on it. Then I will always be wearing it.

I wear a small gold bracelet while at work. I put it on when I arrive and remove it when I leave.

M gave me a very elegant Georg Jensen leather choker that ties with a silver twist attachment, available on eBay for about $50.00. Apart from shower and gym I have worn one — well, two, I lost one at the gym a few years ago — continually for over four years. It’s very comfortable (which may not be the point point for some people, I realize, but we aren’t hair shirt types) but makes for a subtle and understated collar that does not attract attention even in fairly conservative contexts. It also show no signs of wear.

Got something to say?
