Pondering the power and quality of humiliation by words:
Humiliation is about understanding a mindset or headspace. It’s particularly fascinating in a D/s context when we negotiate the terms or acts to be used in such scenes. Is prenegotiated humiliation still humiliating?
It’s also interesting in a long term relationship. For me what makes humiliation an acceptable and even loving activity is the background of mutual respect… It is that interesting quirk and contradiction in the context of negotiation and consent, to engage in, dance and even play around with our fears and insecurities about ourselves. (Perhaps?) How wonderful that is!
