I could deny myself as an act of will. The danger is that I can easily see myself become so unsexualized that I no longer care if I have an orgasm. To psychically neuter me is not the goal. Physical restraint is - among other things - a feedback mechanism for insuring that enforced chastity isn’t asexual: that my desire remains, indeed that my libido is heightened.
