Slave Protocols & Rituals

There is much talk in BDSM about protocols and rituals. Some BDSM advice books stress establishing protocols as a means of insuring proper “slave” behavior, instilling obedience and necessary training of the submissive person.

Think of Gor, which is rich in ritualized speech, standardized postures and positions.

Is this kind of strict ceremonial behavior part of your power exchange?

  • We have a pattern but it is loose.
  • There are set tasks I perform each day.
  • I’m required to use an honoric but no more.
  • Sometimes we use protocols and rituals for play.
  • Spoken behavior is always regulated.
  • Rituals are part of each day.
  • All of my behavior is completely controlled 24/7.

For some perspective from women see Strict Protocols, Rituals, Ceremonial Behavior.
