Goddess Worship Nuttiness

Back in the 1950s Americans saw communists under every bed.

Some men try to justify their masochism with oddball sociology and demented extracts from history.

No one more than William Bond who has an uncountable quantity of websites, blogs and journals in which he has striven for years to justify female supremacy and goddess worship.

Here’s a tasty sample:

… The statue of Liberty was commissioned, financed and built
by Freemasons and again is a statue of a Goddess. (though off course
it is never called a Goddess). In fact from her head dress which
shows the rays of the sun and She is holding a flame, in ancient times
She would be seen as a Sun Goddess. This is a very ancient symbol
because people stopped worshipping Sun Goddesses at the dawn of
recorded history. In many of the “eye of god” symbols in Freemasonry
the eye is surrounded by the rays of the sun. If the eye is a Goddess
symbol we again see the Sun Goddess so this must be a important symbol
to the Freemasons.

The number 13 is seen a lot in Freemasonry symbolism, which is also on
the great seal of the USA. The original calendars had 13 months in a
years which came from the 13 new moons in a year. The moon was seen a
feminine symbol as it was the same as women’s menstrual cycle. In
ancient times the menstruation was seen as something very sacred.
This changed when patriarchal religions took over and menstruation
came to be seen as unclean, taboo and even sinful. They even change
to a 12 month year to destroy the knowledge that a month once was the
cycle of a women’s period. So again this is referring back to the
ancient religion of the Great Mother.

Is Freemasonry a Goddess Religion

  • While I admire the tenacity of the individuals, relate to and share with them their erotic kinks for the most part, and appreciate the potential good that can come from more women appreciating their own anatomy, sexuality, and femininity (and the same can be said for men, by the way), I do wonder how so many people can be so incredibly deluded to believe that absolutism is the proper way to address anything as personal as these topics.
